New Jersey born, Kristin Rodriguez (Gill), initially pursued performing at the HB Studio in New York City. Kristin never abandoned her dream of being an accomplished actress, even after re-locating to the Washington DC area in 2004. She continued her studies in NYC under the instruction of acclaimed actress Rosalyn Coleman Williams.

In 2009, eager to further explore and gain knowledge of her craft, Kristin began studies of the Stanislavsky Technique, Improvisation and Scene Study at the Performing Arts Training Studio, with Professor Denise Hart in Washington, DC.  It was during these classes that her love for the craft flourished and an understanding of the acting process and technique became clear.

2011 has presented Kristin the opportunity to have been prominently featured as a lead in a short film for Howard University under the direction of up and coming director Alyssa Taylor.  Kristin also shot a spec-pilot for Integral Arts.   Next, Kristin was featured as the principal model for a print campaign under the auspices of the USDA. And finally, Kristin can also be seen in an independent film entitled ‘Raising Wolves’ which will be released in the Spring of 2012.

When not pursuing the joy of her first love, acting, Kristin relishes the blessing of being the wife  of her true love, her husband Dexter.  She also enjoys spending time with her family & friends.

Kristin is presently employed as a banking executive, managing two branches of a local Washington D.C. financial institution.   Her hobbies include reading, writing, social networking and cinema.  She, being a "certified" foodie, loves cooking and exploring diverse area eateries.

Kristin continues to attend various acting classes, intensives and workshops both in Washington and New York City and intends to relocate to New York City in 2012 to further pursue her acting career.  She stated, “I love the DC area, but I have to go where the opportunities lie and that’s primarily in New York and L.A.” “I believe that I need to be in NYC full-time to be viewed as being completely committed to acting." Kristin plans to continue honing her craft and gaining theatrical as well as commercial representation in New York City.

She believes that most people perceive acting as being easy and most think you’re going to be an "star" overnight. Kristin states “most successful actors have had years of training and that being successful doesn’t always equate with being a celebrity”. –
